How it's work
How Solar Power Work?
Solar panels generate DC power
During the day when the sun is out, solar panels convert UV light into DC electricity. They’re able to do this, because they’re made from silicone, a material that produces electricity when light falls onto it.
Solar inverter converts DC power to AC
This DC electricity is then converted by a solar inverter into AC power (alternating current). This is the type of electricity that is used by appliances in your home. When buying a system, you can either choose between a string inverter, which is a central inverter that is located close to your switchboard, or a micro inverter which is a small inverter installed underneath each solar panel.
AC power flows through the switchboard and is used by your appliances
Once the electricity is converted into AC power, any appliances that are running in your home, use this electricity instead of purchasing power from the grid. This means you don’t need to purchase as much electricity from your electricity retailer, saving you money.
Excess electricity is sent to the grid or a battery
Any electricity generated by your solar panels that isn’t used by your home, is either sent to the grid, where in return you get paid a feed-in tariff from your electricity retailer; or is used to charge a battery.
A smart meter tracks and records all energy flows.
A smart meter tracks and records the energy flows in this whole process, so there’s nothing extra you need to do. Each time you receive your electricity bill, you’ll automatically see the reduction in your electricity bill and the feed-in tariff credits. You can also automatically draw energy from the grid, when you need to.

Eco Solar Power Company was efficient, professional, reliable, and price competitive. Highly recommend A+ experience. They sourced us the premium solar panels and inverter of our choice. Manoj came across as a genuine person, were an onsite on the day of install. They were very quick, efficient and very professional from the salesman and to the tradesman themselves. From inspection to install took 2 weeks. They supplied the user manual for the system after installation which is quite useful. Highly recommended.

Eco Solar Power Solar was recommended to me by one of my colleagues at my workplace when I mentioned I was looking for solar and a battery setup. The sales representative was knowledgeable in every aspect and he recommended us a Hybrid system that not only offsets our day-time energy usage but also stores energy for later use. The installation guys were great to deal with and explained everything carefully before they leave my premises. The job was done exactly as agreed and they cleaned up everything before leaving the place. We have now got a 6.6kW system with LG 6.5 kWh Battery storage. Looking forward to seeing my reduced bill next quarter.

I would highly recommend Manoj and his team from Eco Solar Power to anyone considering solar energy for energy needs. Eco Solar Power provided me with the best solution for our energy needs, Mohsin, a sales representative, explained and demonstrated us the entire principle of Solar panels quite well. All my questions were answered in detail. Our system has been working great and I am certainly very satisfied customer.

I would highly recommend Eco Solar Power to anybody buying a solar system. From the first phone call to the installation I could not fault them in anyway. The knowledge of their products and systems were excellent and they saved us nearly $2,000 on a similar system that another company failed to deliver us.
